The Experience
The Cliffs of Moher One-Day Rail Tour offers a well-paced journey through some of the most impressive locations on Ireland’s west coast.
Your day begins at Dublin Heuston Station, where a reserved rail seat keeps the journey simple. The train travels toward Limerick, and the River Shannon provides the first landmark of the tour. On arrival, you will join your guide and travel by coach to Bunratty Castle. The castle grounds and the folk park show a clear picture of Ireland’s medieval culture, and the setting helps you understand the region’s long history.
The next stop is the Cliffs of Moher, where the cliffs rise above the Atlantic and create one of Ireland’s most striking viewpoints. You will have time to explore the visitor centre and follow the paths at your own pace. The tour continues through the Burren, a landscape known for its limestone terrain and unusual plant life. The contrast between the cliffs and the Burren adds variety to the day without disrupting the rhythm of the tour.
Before returning to Dublin, you will pass along Galway Bay and enjoy a short visit to the city. This final stop adds a light introduction to Galway’s character.
Your booking includes:
- All required rail travel with reserved seating
- Fully hosted rail and coach travel
- Admission to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park
- Admission to the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Experience
Enjoy a full day of Ireland’s west coast with a fun scenic rail tour!
