The Experience
Your day starts in Wolfratshausen, just outside Munich in southern Germany. After meeting the crew, you board a traditional wooden raft as live brass music marks the start of the journey. The route follows the Loisach before joining the Isar, taking you through the Bavarian countryside towards Munich.
A snack is served on board as you move through the Pupplinger Au, giving you time to take in the surroundings and enjoy the atmosphere on the raft. The journey continues downstream until reaching the main feature of the experience.
At the raft slide, you descend 18 metres over a 350-metre stretch. It’s the longest raft slide in Europe and a defining moment of the trip. Once through, the route continues along the Isar towards the final section.
Lunch is served on board as you pass the Georgenstein, followed by the final stretch towards Munich-Thalkirchen. Along the way, you pass landmarks such as Grünwald Castle before reaching the landing point, where the experience ends.
Included:
- Guided raft trip along the Isar and Loisach
- Bavarian white sausage snack with pretzel and mustard
