With over 100 launch sites available across North Rhine-Westphalia, Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate, and Baden-Württemberg, you can choose the location that suits you best. Morning and evening flights are available, giving you the chance to enjoy soft sunrise light or the warm glow of sunset.
Your experience begins with a personal safety briefing from the pilot, who will also invite you to take part in the balloon setup if you wish. Once the burners roar and the balloon lifts gently into the sky, you’ll float above forests, fields and rivers while enjoying incredible panoramic views.
After the flight, celebrate with a traditional balloon christening ceremony and receive a personalised certificate as a keepsake. In total, the experience lasts around four hours, with at least one full hour spent in the air.

The minimum age for the balloon ride is 8 years.
The minimum required height is 1.30 meters.
Max body weight is up to 120 kg.
If you have lung, heart or circulatory problems or other diseases that could affect your well-being during the trip, please ask your doctor in advance if there are objections with respect to the balloon ride.
The Weather
This experience is weather dependent. You must call the day before departure, to ask if the weather is suitable. If the trip will not take place because of the weather conditions, a new date will be arranged directly with the supplier.
Session Length
The entire experience should take about four hours. The flight time is at least 60 minutes.

Spectators
Spectators are welcome at the start. We recommend bringing binoculars.
What To Wear
We strongly recommend to wear sturdy shoes. As the sun's rays can be very intense, hats and sunglasses are highly recommended.
Availability
Balloon rides can take place all year round. During the peak season from April to October of the year flights take place in the early morning shortly after sunrise and in the evening two to three hours before sunset starts. In the winter months of January and February, occasional flights are possible during the day.
