The Experience
Take to the skies with a shared hot air balloon ride for two near Barcelona.
Just 40 minutes from the city, this experience offers a peaceful flight over the Montserrat region, a perfect escape for couples or friends looking to enjoy something different together. You’ll share the balloon with a small group of fellow passengers, making it a sociable yet personal way to enjoy the views.
Your adventure begins early in the morning, shortly after sunrise. You’ll receive the exact location and start time one to two days in advance, depending on the weather. On the day, you’ll watch the balloon being inflated before taking off for a one-hour flight. Reaching up to 1,500 metres, you’ll enjoy sweeping views of Montserrat and the surrounding countryside.
After landing, a 4x4 vehicle will return you to the launch site. There, you’ll enjoy a relaxed cava toast with light snacks, including cheese chips, hummus, nuts and more. The experience also includes HD photos of your flight and a personalised certificate for each participant.

Vital information
We recommend a minimum age of 5 for children and no upper age limit for adults. It's a very peaceful and safe activity. Those under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18+).
The Weather
Your Hot Air Balloon Ride in Barcelona is very weather dependent. You will be asked to phone the location prior to the flight to check the weather. If it is unsuitable, you can simply rebook for another day at your convenience.
Session Length
The experience lasts approximately 3 hours in total, with around an hour in the air.
Spectators
Spectators are welcome to watch the balloon launch although, If alternative launch site is used, they are expected to make their own way there and back.

What To Wear
You should wear clothing suitable for a country walk appropriate to the time of year, preferably of natural fibres. A hat or cap may be useful to protect your head from the heat of the burners. Ladies please wear trousers. Sensible walking shoes or boots are recommended, preferably ones that are waterproof. Space is restricted in the basket, so please avoid bringing large rucksacks and bags.
