Float gently over the Catalan countryside and enjoy spectacular views of Montserrat Mountain with this popular hot air balloon ride in Barcelona. Just an hour from the city, this experience takes place in the early morning and offers stunning panoramic sights in the soft morning light.
Your flight begins shortly after sunrise, with the exact meeting point and time confirmed by email 1–2 days before your scheduled date. Once on site, you’ll watch the balloon inflate before taking off for approximately one hour of flight time. Reaching up to 1,500 metres in altitude, the views are truly unmatched, from rolling hills to distant mountain peaks.
After landing, you’ll be driven back to the launch area in a 4x4. Your experience also includes a cava toast, a small selection of snacks and a flight certificate to remember the moment. HD photos taken during the flight and from the ground are included and shared with you after the experience.
Vital information
We recommend a minimum age of 5 for children and no upper age limit for adults. It's a very peaceful and safe activity. Those under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18+).
The Weather
Your Hot Air Balloon Ride in Barcelona is very weather dependent. You will be asked to phone the location prior to the flight to check the weather. If it is unsuitable, you can simply rebook for another day at your convenience.
Session Length
The experience lasts approximately 3 hours in total, with around an hour in the air.
Spectators
Spectators are welcome to watch the balloon launch although, If alternative launch site is used, they are expected to make their own way there and back.

What To Wear
You should wear clothing suitable for a country walk appropriate to the time of year, preferably of natural fibres. A hat or cap may be useful to protect your head from the heat of the burners. Ladies please wear trousers. Sensible walking shoes or boots are recommended, preferably ones that are waterproof. Space is restricted in the basket, so please avoid bringing large rucksacks and bags.
