The Northern Belle Scarborough at Leisure Luxury Train Journey invites you to enjoy vintage rail travel alongside the beauty of the Yorkshire coast.
From the moment you board, you’ll be surrounded by elegant 1930’s inspired carriages, attentive service and an atmosphere of celebration.
Your experience begins with a three-course brunch, served as you travel through the countryside towards Scarborough. Relax in your armchair, admire the polished wood and crisp linen of your carriage, and take in the scenery as you anticipate your seaside destination.
On arrival, you’ll have free time to explore Scarborough at your leisure. You may wish to wander along the promenade, discover Scarborough Castle, or simply relax by the sea. The time is yours to enjoy as you wish.
When it’s time to rejoin the train, a Champagne reception awaits, followed by a five-course dinner with carefully selected wine. Coffee and petits fours complete your meal as the train carries you home in comfort and style.
This journey offers a perfect mix of fine dining, vintage elegance and the simple pleasures of a day by the sea.

Please note that the voucher can be redeemed against Northern Belle journeys upto the value of the voucher amount. Please be aware that at periods of high demand the trip you want may decided on may have increased in price so you maybe liable for a small supplement at the time of booking.
The Weather
The weather should not affect this experience but in severe weather conditions you are advised to call the reservations office to ensure your luxury train experience aboard the Northern Belle will still be going ahead.
Session Length
It is important that you please arrive 20 minutes before your train journey is due to depart. Journey times vary. Please contact Reservations for more information. Your journey will last all day.
Numbers
Northern Belle's Scarborough At Leisure experience is shared with other people in your carriage and you may share your table with other passengers if not otherwise stipulated.
Spectators
Spectators are not welcome on this experience. Anyone wishing to join you for your fine dining experience journey should purchase a voucher.
What To Wear
Please wear smart casual attire, it is not considered appropriate to wear jeans or trainers on this luxury train journey to Scarborough.
