The Experience
A tandem skydive in Germany is one of the most exhilarating ways to experience freefall while knowing you’re in safe hands.
Your adventure begins at Unterzeil Airport in Leutkirch, Germany, where you’ll meet your tandem instructor and receive a detailed briefing. This covers the jump sequence, correct body position during freefall, parachute deployment and how the landing will take place.
Once you’re ready, you’ll board the aircraft for the climb to 4,000 metres. As the door opens, anticipation peaks before you and your instructor make the leap. The freefall lasts around 50 seconds, with speeds of up to 200 km/h, an unforgettable rush that captures the true essence of skydiving!
At around 1,500 metres the parachute opens, transforming the experience into a calm glide lasting 5–8 minutes. From this unique vantage point you’ll enjoy sweeping views of southern Germany before touching down safely.
